What the contact form collects

If you send a message through the contact form, it collects only what you type into it:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give one
• The service you selected, if any
• Your message

Nothing else is collected through the form. It has no file upload, and it is not designed to receive tax documents.

What we do with it

Your message is emailed directly to Martha Clausell so she can reply to you. That is the only reason it is collected.

It is not added to a mailing list, not used for advertising, and not sold or shared with anyone for marketing.

Please do not send sensitive information

This form is an ordinary email channel, not a secure document portal. Please do not send Social Security numbers, tax documents, banking information or account numbers through it.

The form actively refuses messages that look like they contain a Social Security or account number. If you need to send documents securely, contact us and we will tell you how.

Services that help run this website

A small number of providers process technical data so that the site can work at all:

• Google Firebase Hosting serves the website and keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
• Google Apps Script and Gmail deliver and store your contact-form message, inside the owner’s own Google account.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses, so your browser requests them from Google.

No other third party receives your message.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own, and currently runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There is nothing here for you to opt out of.

How long messages are kept

Contact-form messages stay in the business email inbox they are delivered to.

If an enquiry does not lead to work, the message is deleted within 24 months. If you become a client, anything relevant to your file is kept for as long as our professional and legal record-keeping obligations require.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete your message. Write to smartax2023@gmail.com and we will action it.
